Where Do Podcast Topic Ideas Come From?

Everyone thinks podcasting is about speaking, but if you're not good at listening, it will be hard to come up with topics to discuss.

Making movies with smartphones is a global niche community that I’ve been a pioneer in for over 15 years. That’s a long time! That means I’ve been in tune with it since before the iPhone 4 was released, with an HD camera.

Just like the commercial says, “I know a thing or two,” I genuinely do. But I also know a thing or two about video production and filmmaking, because I’ve had the privilege to work professionally and be paid in both. I also have a degree in Media Communications.

All these things have developed a unique perspective which I bring to my podcast with every episode.

All podcasters bring a perspective to their shows. They are storytellers in spirit. I have the most respect imaginable for creators, filmmakers, artists…and that includes podcasters.

I invite people within my niche community in mobile filmmaking, and those connected to it, to my podcast.

I thoroughly enjoy conversations with people from different walks of life. I am very passionate about storytelling and film. And my passion for that, along with my curiosity with technology, has paired well to mobile filmmaking as a passionate topic I enjoy discussing. It’s endeared my everyday life.
